Gwinnett Wedding Venue Tour (Part 2)

Hi guys!  I hope you were inspired by the venues I featured in Part 1 of the Gwinnett County venue tour.  Check out Part 2 of the tour below.

I really like this venue for the variety of rental spaces that it offers.  There is the option to have a ceremony/reception outside under the bridge (not pictured), at the barn, the Chesser-Williams House and of course inside the center.  The Bridge and the Blue Planet theater spaces would be my favorites!

Don't let the name fool you!  This venue is far from your average community center.  With it's regal ballrooms and winding staircase it is sure to make a great impression on you and your guests.

Perfect for the traditional bride, this venue features a lovely chapel and a separate space for the reception.

I have to give special thanks to Maurice (pictured above with me) of the Gwinnett County Convention and Visitors Bureau for organizing this WONDERFUL tour, and gifting us with the cutest gift bags.  Last but not least, thank you to Jerry of Georgia Trolley Services for transporting us for the day.

I hope you guys enjoyed your virtual tour of only a few of Gwinnett County's best wedding venues.  Email me at raven@ravenj.com if you have questions.

Atlanta Venue: The Roswell Historic Cottage

While outside the Perimeter I had the opportunity the visit the Roswell Historic Cottage, near the Roswell Square.  The venue is very unassuming from the outside but quite stunning on the inside.  It features 2 levels, loft style ceilings and stylish brick walls.  It's the perfect setting for a modern wedding reception or party of any kind.  See a few of my snaps below.

Atlanta Venue: The Millenium Gate Museum at Atlantic Station

Hey everyone!  I toured another great venue recently and I want to share my sights with you.  I'm speaking of the Millennium Gate Museum in the beautiful Atlantic Station area.  Atlantic Station is one of my favorite parts of town so I was stoked to tour this venue.  The Millennium Gate Museum is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony, or a social affair of any kind.  There's the option to host your event outside on the lawn, upstairs overlooking the water, or inside of the museum.  I love a venue with flexibility!  See a few of my pics below and tell me what you think.

The Inventor's Loft Welcomes ISES

Happy Thursday everyone!  On yesterday I had the opportunity to visit and tour the Inventor's Loft, one of Atlanta's newest event venues.  The Inventor's Loft played host to the June ISES Atlanta chapter meeting, and I enjoyed every bit of it.  See a few of my snaps below.

Take in the stunning garden view with the Atlanta skyline in the backdrop.  Perfect for a cocktail party of any kind!

200 Peachtree Open House

Happy Hump Day everyone!  If you've been following my blog you can agree that I've been on an "Open House" roll.  But I love it.  It's a great way for me to check out local event venues, sample great food and cocktails, and catch up with my event planning buddies.  Last night, I attended the 200 Peachtree Open House.  If you live in Atlanta, you may know it as the former Rich's building.  Located on Peachtree Street, 200 Peachtree boasts luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings and columns, perfect for a glam wedding or celebration of any kind.  The venue is huge and perfect for someone desiring to celebrate in the heart of the city. I took a few pics below to share with my loyal readers :-).  We were even entertained by a professional aerialist. Cool, huh?

Happy Planning!

Cozy up to COZE!

On last week I had the pleasure of touring one of  downtown Atlanta's newest small venues, COZE.  And boy, was it everything I thought it would be.  COZE is perfect for showers, birthday parties, and other intimate celebrations.  It's a loft style space, and features brick walls and 14 ft. ceilings.  Particularly, I love the splashes of orange throughout the venue, which I find to be inviting, warm and modern at the same time.  Take a look inside below.
